My Favorite Printing Companies

6/13/17

As a designer who's been working with different printing companies for years, it's time to share my favorites! From business cards to corporate projects, I know how important it is to receive the perfect printed project (and have had my fair share of disappointments!). So, here's my go-to companies for printing your designs...

For Business Cards, Postcards and Stickers: Moo
I've been in love with Moo for years now. I can remember being a frantic student in London in 2013 not knowing where to print a postcard set I designed. Luckily, a quick search lead me to Moo, and we've been inseparable ever since. Moo is my go-to for business cards, postcards, and stickers. Their products are the highest quality, and I've never been disappointed with my finished product. Visit their website: Moo.com

For Photo Books, Magazines and Ebooks: Blurb
Another moment in my student days where I wanted to print a book I designed. In comes Blurb. They have so many different options for book printing, you could get lost in the possibilities. They even offer a plugin for InDesign with the correct measurements for your file, which can be really handy in the printing process! Visit their website: Blurb.com

For T-Shirts: Custom Ink
If you're looking to print a high quality t-shirt (in bulk), Custom Ink is your best bet. Their shirt options are great, and compared to some other companies I've printed t-shirts with, their product always prints perfectly. They're on the pricier side, but can stop a lot of headaches you may experience with other companies. Visit their website: Customink.com

For Professional Printing: April Printing Co in New York City
While a professional printing company may seem like they're only for corporate projects, I use April Printing Co here in New York City for both personal and corporate projects. They are reasonably priced, and have the best customer service. If you reach out, tell them I sent you! Visit their website: Aprilprinting.com
